- Read book Art & Max
- Do a lesson on emotions (See site for lesson)
- Do a lesson on color (See site for lesson)
- Do lesson on Jackson Pollock (See site for lesson)
- Have student pre-draw out what Emotion and Color Scheme they wish to recreate. (Rough copy pencil crayon or marker)
- Then make the painting (see Jackson Pollock lesson)
- Then have the students try and guess what emotion or color scheme the artist (ie student) was meaning to represent
- Examples below: Grades 3 to 8
